The Oscars may be a one-night-only affair, but the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has already begun this year's celebration and will continue to do so after the 96th Oscars. Now through March 31, Oscars Season at the Academy Museum offers guests the chance to immerse themselves in all things Oscars, with even more screenings, more panels, and more experiences for movie lovers.
You may not be accepting an award onstage at the 96th Oscars, but you can do the next best thing: The Oscars Experience, which lets you experience what it feels like to hear your name called, step onstage at the Dolby Theatre, and accept your Oscar.

Oscars Night at the Museum
The Academy Museum will host its annual Oscars Night at the Museum on Sunday, March 10, from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. During this one-of-a-kind viewing party, guests will have access to the museum galleries and special photo opportunities, before sitting down to watch the 96th Oscars from the David Geffen Theater or Fanny's. Wear your best black tie, cocktail or formal attire, and prepare to be wined and dined!
Oscars Night at the Museum is a separately ticketed event and prices range from $200 - $450 and can be purchased via the Academy Museum's website. Guests must be 21 years or older with a valid ID.
Oscar Season Screenings
In honor of Black History Month, February's slate of Oscar Sundays Screenings highlights Black milestones in film throughout Oscars history. The months caps off with a special "10 Years After the Win" screening of 2014's Best Picture winner, 12 Years a Slave, with director Steve McQueen appearing in person.

In the week leading up to the 96th Oscars, the Academy Museum will host panels with this year's nominated filmmakers, in addition to screening all of the nominated short films. The series kicks off with Breaking the Oscars Ceiling, a conversation celebrating Oscar milestones of the LGBTQ+ community.

Oscars Gallery Tours
As we count down to this year's ceremony, look back on the history of the Oscars and some of the most historic and memorable wins. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, museum educators will guide tours of the Oscars History gallery, which showcases a timeline of the Oscars from the 1920s to 2022, and Oscars gallery, which features 20 Oscars from the inception of the awards show.

Ticket Information
General admission tickets for the museum's exhibitions are $25 for adults, $19 for seniors (age 62+), and $15 for students (age 18+ with valid ID). Admission for Academy Museum members, visitors ages 17 and younger, and California residents with an EBT card is free. Pricing for the Oscars Experience is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for students, and free for visitors ages 17 and under.
Tickets for film screenings and Nominee Programs are sold separately and do not require general admission to the Academy Museum. Film screening and Nominee Program tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors (age 62+), $5 for students, $5 for children (ages 17 and younger), and $8 for Academy Museum members.
The Academy Museum is open six days a week, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and closed on Tuesdays. All tickets are available through advance online reservations via the Academy Museum's website.
